1-Minute Guacamole Recipe {Easy  and Delicious}

This is what you’ll need

1. Ripe avocado

2. Jar of salsa

3. Optional lemon/lime juice, and salt

Prep

– Cut open the avocado and scoop it out. If you’re unsure how to do this, read my post here:

The two best ways to cut an avocado>>

Mix and Mash

– Mash up your avocado in a bowl.

– Grab your jar of salsa and put in 3 tbsp with your avocado in a bowl.

– Add a squeeze or two of fresh lemon or lime juice. If you don’t have fresh on hand I would recommend keeping lemon juice or lime juice in your fridge.

– Optionally, add salt to taste.

– Mix in the ingredients, and get to scooping!

Optional Ingredients

If you want to take this up a notch, try some of these add-ins.

– Garlic powder– a few shakes will do

– Try adding a little cumin–it’s delicious and rounds out the flavor

– Fresh cilantro. Chop it up and add about a tsp.

– If you like crunch, add a tsp of white or red onion.

Obviously these are the ingredient amount if you’re only using 1 avocado. I always do this recipe with 1 avocado, our family snacks on it, and then we have no leftovers to store. If you’re using more avocados you’ll need to multiply the ingredients by the number of avocados you are using.

For example: if you’re using 2 avocados, multiply everything by 2.

To Store

– Store in an airtight container and refrigerate for up to 3 days.

– To help prevent it from turning brown, squeeze lemon juice on the top before storing.
